Hey I've noticed that in telephto on 24p there seems to be a filcker in some areas of the frame, kinda of like dirt on film. Don't notice it as much on wide shots. After viewing the tape from the camera to the t.v. a few times it seems to get worse. Now it's a very old tape mind you (over eight years). Is that kind of like scratches on a negative? The more times you view a tape the worse the quality becomes. Or does that sound like something slightly wrong with the camera? Just thought the quick answer might be to ask here? Should I try a test with a new tape. Does mini-dv tape degrade quickly with viewings?
