Some more information for you.
In its second year, this is located in the Northern Liberties area of Philadelphia and was a huge success last year. We screened 151 movies at 7 venues over 4 days. Movies and filmakers came from around the world and included Japan, Holland, Bulgaria and Argentina. The goal of the festival is to provide a global and local cultural exchange that encompasses, recognizes, and celebrates independent filmmaking. At the moment our web site is being updated.
LARGE UPDATE
Along with the PIFF this summer, there will also be the FIRST ANNUAL Philadelphia Film Market. This market is the only MAJOR film market on the east coast that showcases film makers and distributers in a trade show style. The market will take place June 22-28 along with the PIFF June 25-28. The new website will be up soon with more information.
