Sub-Arctic filming reco's

I have the opportunity to shoot a short doc on a group of people going to Churchill, Manitoba (Canada) viewing the Polar Bears and other wildlife.

I currently own a HPX170 and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to what else I would need for long outdoor shoots in the cold. I'm definatley getting a rain slick for the camera, but need to upgrade my mics and would like to get a decent matte box.

Any reco's on the above or on filters or other stuff that would making shooting in the sub-arctic easier?

A bunch of batteries and some kind of bag you can put some warm packs in to keep the batteries from getting to cold. Out there your batteries wont last too long. Just my 2 cents
