Stuttery Image on plasma due to too long HDMI cable? (Driftwood Intra)

Hi,

is that possible? I have clips that playback fine on my pana plasma directly from sd card or also in AE. But when I use my plasma as external device in PPro it stutters, or lags. It´s connected through a 15m not so cheap HDMI cable. It seems that only high detail scenery has those problems. So...bandwidth?

could be how your garphics card + ppro handles external monitors. how does the footage look through a media player like splashlite on the plasma?
 
Allright. It plays back fine in splashlite on the plasma.
In Premiere Mercury Engine is on Hardware. It doesn´t even let me render the timeline but I realized that it stutters also on the PC LCD. Never has before.
 
aaand now it´s all good. :badputer:

A little PPro update just came in and I installed it, although it didn´t say anything about video acceleration etc. only subtitles.
