Very amaturish. Go buy "the revolution" by nick apex. Best stunt dvd on the market hands down. Look at the angles and editing techniques for "insperation." I'd try for a new music track as well. On something like a stunt video the music chosen is extremely important as it sets up the feeling for the whole segment. As far as a promo video the last thing this did was make me want to go spend $20 to see 45min more of it.

snowboard, skate, stunt-bike and all that extreme stuff is tricky. It's showing a lot of similar stuff, but having to make it look interesting. Go watch other videos already done, then shoot with the bikers again.
Remember with any video try to tell a story. get shots everything that has to do with stunt riding, close-ups of hands working the throttle, guys putting there gloves on/helmet on, people watching the bikes. cover everything. and get a variety of shots too, extreme close ups, wideshots, not just typical head-to-toe shots.

The guys doing the stunts should search the web for the video I saw of what happens when your brain starts to come out of the shell it stays in by not wearing a helmet .

Best,

Rob

helmets get hot.... coming from a fellow stuntrider ie me. Everyone knows the risks involved w not wearing gear, but that risk doesn't hurt you so let them make their own choices.

Boring. It is all the same. Do they do anything but wheelies? The "real deal" guys do high speed and front tire stands. Music?

I don't know what they're called. but this video was boring at best. I have seen better things by better shooters.

and i'm sure he appreciates all your constructive critisicm.

man i don't really care. it was a rough cut and i know how much time i put into it i shot for 2 hrs spent maybe two hours putting it toghther. so i agree with most everything that was said. owell i'm not hurt, i would be careful though b/c there are some people on here that are just getting started and they try their best. don't just tell them it sucks thats the last thing you want to tell them. help them improve that what this forum is meant for. but i do appreciate the post. haha ill have the real version up soon.

You said you had a good time shooting it, and in the end thats really all that matters. Constructive criticism is what the video section of this site is all about, but sometimes it just turns into two post-ers shooting off to each other. Over all the music is what turned me off the most, but you made a video for a group of riders, and those riders are calling the shots, I'm sure they were satisfied with the end result.
