Re: Stuff For Sale!!!

I may be interested in several items. How much for the Adobe training stuff and was it worth it to you? Which is the best mic for shotgun operation for shorts and features(quality sound). PM me a price list (how much your looking to get out of your stuff) and I will get back to you. I will be ordering a new DVX in about a week. I already have a single ccd camcorder and the Adobe video collection. Wish I could buy it all but some things I will have to accumulate as time goes on. Let me know. Thanks

Hi Big Magic,
I purchase the Adobe training stuff from SoftwareVideo for $90. I run Premiere PR0 1.5, so the Adobe premiere 6.5 i didn't even open. But if you aren't familiar with premiere, then it can be a learning point. I enjoy learning After Effects 5.5. The instructor was informative. I thought GoLive 6 could have gotten a better instructor. Unfortunately, each program was taught by different instructors. The instructor for AE was better in explaining...to me of course.
As far as which is a best mic for shotgun???
That is up for debate. Usually the K6/ME66 is compared to AT4073, which is a great mic. The reason I purchase the K6/ME66 over the AT are the following:
1) K6/ME66 can be battery power AND phantom power. Meaning if you go wireless boom in which the boom operator is very far from DVX. Also, if you don't have a phantom power source for your mic. For the audio tech, if you didn't you need something like a DEnecke for phantom pwr.

2) You can change modules on the K6 to an ME64 or 62 if you are shooting indoor and worried about reverb.

If you are purchasing a DVX soon, then spend your good money on a good camera. If you are seriously interested... let me know what items you are exactly interested in.

Well I am going to need a good mic too. I have been a musician for years and I know the value of audio. I have a JVC one CCD camcorder now but I intend to buy a decent shotgun mic and some lighting equipment as well. I know the K6 is around 389.00 to 400.00 new. I have After Effects 6.5 and Premiere Pro 1.5 so I'm not sure how much the instructional stuff will help me. I am not familiar with the "Zepplin blimp" so give me some details. My Kids(ages 15 thru 20) have convinced me to do the "movie thing". I am planning on using the DVX to promote outdoor videos but making a movie could be a lot of fun. I may buy a DAT recorder as well. I am looking at all my options. Thanks

I'll put together my offer and PM you tomorrow

I'll put together my offer and PM you tomorrow

You have a few things I'd like to make an offer on. I'll do it tomorrow.

Hey BigMagic,
If you are using Premiere Pro and AE 6.5 then I wouldn't suggest getting the tutorial, because you probably already know how to use them.
As far as the sennheiser gear, The K6, ME66, pistol shockmount, zepplin, and wind hair is around $1150 brand new. I am willing to shave a hundred or two if you take the whole package.

Hey Prairieboy,
Sorry didn't get back to you. I've been so busy with this new production company. I just check it. Did you want the songs and the pimsleur language program? If not, I'll erase it and get rid of it for around $170- 180. Except, I've ship stuff to Canada and you have a ridiculous fee. So in that case, I can't send it UPS. I have to send it postal service.

Hey Bryant,
I purchase it from a guy who installed the pimsleur langauge, for approx $750. It has Pimsleur Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, German, Russian...etc. By the time you get to level 3 of these languages, you are considered an intermediate speaker of that language. I don't have the CD's, so don't ask. I bought it preinstalled and trying to get my worth back.

If I don't respond the next few days, I am busy with my production company.
