these are some shots from a experimental short "Study No. 1" ... i hope to start editing in Nov.... this is part of 3 study's .... there is no audio with clip..
this is a study of motion .. there is no story .. the movement subject is the RED cape .. person is just riding on coat tails of RED cape ...
approx length for finished short = 4min
exterior shoot - overcast day
camera- Nizo super 8
media- Super 8 Kodachrome 25 reversal film
crew .. cameraperson, person with RED cape, tripod .. no other equipment.
at this time i do not know what i'll use for sound track ??? some super 8 was damaged .. at this moment i'm not sure how i will put it together? we're currently doing a kitchen remodel so i'm thinking about it over all the noise.
my intention was to edit the film ... got a viewer, tape splicer, cement splicer, glue , bins..i cut up the super 8 into separate shots and had them organized in bins ... after about 10 tape splices i decided to edit digital ..
the super 8 was transferred to Digibeta ... Digibeta was copied to DVcam ..
this is from the captured Dvcam - rendered to WMV 23.976fps 500k stream ...
