Studio shoot with af101 and CP.2

I shot a series of commercials for a Norwegian crowd funding the project.

Everything is in Norwegian, with Norwegian celebrities (some might recognize Happy Tom from Turbonegro), so it will probably not give much meaning regarding content. Everything's shot with the af101 with several Carl Zeiss CP.2, PL mount.

The gaffer and I tried to steer clear from the classic burnt out white background look and rather go for a softer and more desaturated style.

I am very pleased with the picture quality, af100 is amazing when all of your lights are under control. There have been some reframing in post-production, which is noticeable in full screen.

Skin tones look "grey" and de saturated to me. Kind of a dead look.

Is that intentional or just a consequence of the streaming codec?

As mentioned, we intentionally went for a more desatured look. I think it suits the humor of the ads, I can see how that can be hard to judge for non-norwegians.
