Studio B intro <------First DVX footage post

Ok guys,
Till I get some more bandwich, here is the biggest file I can post (just under 10mb). I recently shot and edited this as an intro for Wichita State's campus newscast. Sorry if the footage is a little grainy, its the compression.

Also the audio sounds a little 'muted', when its on TV is sounds just fine. ;D

Anyway, I'd love to hear any comments and/or thoughts. Just right click and "save as".

It's very good! It's not that much grainy... which software did you use?

Nice visual work. My only comments are an overall unified look in color and contrast of each clip. Maybe crunching and saturating everything a little more. And I think you hold on the logo at the end about a second or two longer than my attention span can handle. And you adressed the volume issue.

Good job overall.

looks nice. I'd tone down the logos a bit. The edges are a lil sharp... smoooth them out..:)

What is "crunching"?

I agree that the logo at the end last a at least 2 secondes too long!

I believe he is referring to bringing up the black level. Either that or he's advising our friend to eat something.

That was pretty neat, a little slow for an intro, but very clean looking. I too would like to know what you used to slap that together.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the comments so far.

I should add that the reason why the logo hangs is to give our 'live' switcher person time to dissolve into the newscast. :-)

As for what software I used: After Effects, Premiere, and Cool 3d text.

HA! Yes T. Crushing the blacks and pushing the highlights. AKA more contrast.

You know. Crunching. ;D

Re: Studio B intro <------First DVX footage pos

ok then it's okay for the duration of the logo if it will dissolve!

I didn't really see anything wrong with this intro except... I didn't like the music. Sounded alittle creepy to me. What about some Kenny G? ;)

good job.
