Student Looking to rent an HVX.

[Concept89]

Hi,

I'm a student at Pratt Institute (based in Brooklyn, NY) looking to rent an HVX for a school project. Does anyone know where or who I can contact to rent an HVX? Since I'm a student, I'm on an EXTREMELY tight Budget, so I hope whatever is referred to me, it's for cheap.

Maybe I'm not being realistic, but I'll try my best to widen my leniency on how much I can spend per day.

If anyone can help me, please contact me as quickly as possible!

I think your best bet is to try and use craigslist. Get a wanna be DP, or an up and comer, and allow them to collaborate then you might get a good deal and make a good friend in the process. Having an extremely tight budget really doesn't lend itself to renting a camera, certainly not from a rental house as well. Find a kindred spirit and harp on that.
