Shot from 6 miles at the NASA Causeway on the AF100.
Canon EF 70-200L with 2x converter, and EF 17-35L.
WS and one timelapse on HPX170.
My sixth (and final?) launch including three from the press site including the second shuttle, the first post Challenger from Challenger Elementary and the first night launch from this same NASA CAuseway.
A bit of overexposure problem at launch, possible due to the rapidly changing cloud cover and haze (or my 2 hours of sleep).
Then my tripod arm got bumped (!) right at liftoff.
But most definitely worth the effort, even with the briefly seen shuttle before disappearing into the low cloud cover.
Grading's rough but I Hope you enjoy!
