Stripping screw on Anamorphic lens

I just got off the phone with an authorized Pana dealer in Burbank, CA to confirm pickup of the Pana Ana and he said "I gotta warn ya', I'm getting a lot of returns on this lens because people are overtigntening and stripping the lockdown screw". Furthermore he claims that Panasonic is turning a deaf ear to resellers and maintaining the position that this is user error and not a design flaw.

My question is directed to all you ANA users: Have you encountered any probs with the lockdown mechanism?

screw is fine...people break the 1/4" mounting on the bottom of the dvx by tighteningit too much too. id agree that its user error. never had any problems here.
