FEATURE: Stricken the Feature - A Matt Sconce Film

Excited to see more and more of this, guys. It's a genuine inspiration to watch you plugging along.

Thanks! We are shooting 720p. Tiring but very exciting stuff. I wish I could show some of our mindblowing stuff, but it is worth the wait. -Matt:love4:

New Page so I re-posted this since a lot of people may have missed it. Mark, could you pm me your e-mail?

Thanks everyone!

Well, I can't post some of the freakin' amazing shots because they give everything away, so instead I will post some other great shots from the weekend. Some have a color correction test pass and others are untouched:

I just sent our composer, the amazing James Mierkey, ideas for the official trailer music based on this.

The shoot went extremely well. Everyone gave 110% and stayed up the late late hours to get everything done. A special thanks to Rachel Jenkins (The makeup artist who rocks) for her time and dedication and to Stephanie French as she was amazing and worked tirelessly (Even when she was exhausted and in makeup contact hell) Vince, thanks for showing up and helping so much! Of course, My dad, Gary was again amazing. he is cleaning the hospital today as well. HUY VU! You showed up and rocked the gripping boom micing house! Thanks a ton! You and your associate were a huge help. James, thanks for being there through both days to the end, and for the lightning rig at the end of Saturday. You and Dad made it work extremely well. Kenn Arola, sacrificed another film shoot to be on set, and Anthony Taylor braved a flat tire to be there. Thanks guys! See, you were great and your friends who showed up helped immensely. Loise, and Edna, thanks for your patience and hard work. To all the rest of you... you know who you are..., thanks for showing up and great acting. Also, thank you to the rest of the team who have been so supportive. We are getting close to production wrap! Sincerely, Matt Sconce

All non CC except a test on Hallway shot.

Also a side note. There are not focus issues with the footage but when dvxuser compresses the images for the albums, sometimes they seem a bit blurry. Anyway, I hope that lets you in on some of the fun we had last weekend! I will update soon! -Matt

I had a great time Matt. Wished I could have stayed longer. Alan and I will come back on the 10th and this time we'll stick it out with you guys for the whole weekend!

Sounds great! We will have some floor for you to sleep on! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG) -Matt

Yowza! I went back and cleaned the whole hospital and the director let me take stuff from the 'bonepile room'. I got a dead body gurney, a 6 amp 12 volt adjustable power supply, a powered rolling operating room shelf system and ... (*gasp*) THE ACTUAL DEAD BODY HOIST THAT LIFTED ACTOR JAMES DEAN'S BODY AFTER HE DIED!!!

Yeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaa! (*Thunk... asleep again*) :Drogar-KnockedOut(D

UPDATE: We have one official weekend left of Production and one pickup weekend. Then we move on to cutting, then foley and ADR. Things are flowing and the target completion is November or December 09 for a 2010 release.

The Tower begins construction for the final epic scene of Sarah Black and another character, hanging out of a 10 story window, held from falling by a wounded by Detective Aro.

Just wanted to say that things are looking good guys. Keep on trucking.

I don't even know that is going on with the hanging rig but that looks pretty impressive:shocked:.

That's pretty sweet. I'm guessing she's going to be able to stand on that wooden platform?

Two hanging girls and a person holding them. One girl on the platform, one on a stepladder. They step off when they hang and then step on when we say cut. It is a big green screen shot we will be shooting with the HVX200 and the RED.
