Strength and Honour

As I love bringing light to new filmmakers I just wanted to take a moment to introduce some of you to someone who is tuly inspirational, Mark Mahon...I have been doing the fest circuit with my stuff and it seems that wherever I go, this guy is sweeping everything...His film Strength and Honour is a heart-felt story of a fomer boxer forced to re-enter the ring to pay for his son's medical procedure. This is Mark's first film so the achievement is monumental when you consider that not long ago he suffered a serious accident that left him paraplegic and was told he would never walk again...not only did he walk but he wrote, produced and directed this amazing film.

To add to the swag of awards from all over the country, STRENGTH AND HONOUR has most recently received five more nominations from the upcoming New York Independent Film Festival... Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for Michael Madsen, Best Cinematography and Best Score.

I would like to reccommend this film to anyone in NY that gets a chance to see it...
