VaricamLT: Strange issue in clip

I received some filters a couple of days ago that I've bought, and wanted to compare the image with and without the filters. So I placed some bottles in my kitchen for a quick comparison. Then I discovered something strange: In one clip (with the filter) everything looks normal, but when I removed the filter this happend (same thing in both Resolve and Premiere). I've magnified the image to make it more obvious. Has anyone experienced this and what is it?

It seems like I'm the only one that has experienced this happening in the blacks. I hope it doesn't happen again while I'm doing a job.
 
Look at the "drop shadow" of the text. It looks as if it is about to dissapear and then gets back to normal for a while and then the same thing happens again.
 
I haven't seen anything like this, but it almost looks like the lens is defocusing? No idea.
 
Im a bit confused. So you added a filter to your lens, then removed the filter and then this happened? Because those two things would not be related.

I was only explaining what I was doing :) , just a simple with and without filter comparison, and then accidentally noticed this. I haven't noticed anything like it before.
 
This seems to have something to do with noise. As if the noise increases and dissipates. Was this iso 5000 and how much is the magnification? Did you try to blackshade and do the same test again?

Oh, I thought that was when you were removing the filter. Yeah, that's no good!
IR issue possibly? How much ND was in?

Looks like the drop shadow is made of foil and something bright was reflected into then out from it during the clip.

I think it was ISO 5000, can't remember. No, I didn't do the exact test but didn't notice it afterwards.

Hm, you might be onto something. The only thing is that I don't know what would've caused the reflection. Most of the light came from above and behind and I was alone in the room and only moved slightly behind the camera. But I'll try to set it up in the same way again and see if I can reproduce it by moving around little.
