F5: Strange F5 issue

I'm on a shoot in Europe with my F5, 2 weeks in and all was well until today.
Suddenly the camera started recording like it was in interval record...recording 2 second clips with no way to stop recording.
Interval recording is not selected and shows as being off. I did an all reset, tried different cards/lens/battery combos, HD,4K, mpeg settings...no luck.

Im shooting 4K on Sony XQD cards in SxS adapters. The camera is v5 with the Sony 4K option installed.

Has anyone seen this sort of issue before? Any ideas?

Never saw that one, but I'd try powering down for minutes, fresh recharged batteries, all reset, and maybe even test with different cards.

I don't know if you've tried recording in other formats and frame rates, but if I were in your shoes I would. For one, it's possible that switching to a different mode and back might trip something and fix the issue.
