Ive searched the forums up and down and i havent seen anyone post anything like this.
basics: dvx100b - f5, full man. bought used but appeared in excellent condition when purchased a few weeks ago. up till now, no problems.
filming a timeplapse at dusk of a skyline from an overpass bridge. have shot there before, no problems first trip.
problem: a few minutes after we started rolling, we began to notice that certain aspects of the shot were jittering or strobing, it seemed as if the pixels rock left to right. it is most noticeable on street lights and bright lights up the sides of the buildings. it will occur for a few seconds then stop, then start again a few seconds later.
we thought maybe it could be the lcd recieving interference at first, but it is also visible through the view and is also recorded to the tape.
the camera was still through the course of the shot so we panned around and it occured when shooting around at lights, etc.
anyone experienced anything close to this or have ideas on the problem?
