I just saw this on the web and it says free.
Can Ipad owners report us about this app?

Easy to use, looks great, price is fantastic. It will get you through 90% of your storyboard needs. I do not miss writing out shot list. Really helps pre pro, and production.

i am wondering if they would implement the camera function into the app with 2nd generation Ipads.
Then i would go for Ipad.
only way to find out
that'd be asking them i guess :P
thanks for the feedback Prairieboy

It's not free, as to make the app useful you have to pay expensive 'in-app' charges. No such thing as a free lunch, and when advertised for free, it usually costs the most.

so
do u pay 20EU for every extra storyboard page?
or is it to remove that limitation?

Haha only us filmmakers notice detail like that! I love it.

no, yo pay 20 euros to remove limitation on object quantity in the shot and get unlimited number of shots in the storyboard.

oh boy
that's no biggie, that's my 2-day lunch money.
my wallet can get away with that... :)
I can charge our client 10 times more of that if they require a story board.
sweet deal for me...

Thanks for the feedback...

It's not the price that bothers me, it's the hidden cost. I'm not a fan of these 'hidden' in-app purchases. Plus I already have an iOS storyboard maker that's been out for awhile now called cinemek storyboard composer, and it seems to do everything I need right now.

Still cool to see though, thanks for sharing!

I just got an iPod Touch right before the holidays, and didn't really do much besides play Angry Birds for a while. Then I took it with me to a conference last week, and I fell in love with the thing. I saw several people using iPads, and now I want one of those as well. (Reading PDFs is a little clunky on the iPod; and typing looks a lot easier on the iPad.) But I wouldn't give up the iPod--there would be one for the pocket, one for the briefcase!

Sorry cinnamond, but I don't understand your last post? Could you please explain what the multi links to Ipad cases means?

As I'm interested in this software.

Thanks
LW

Great promo vid I thought...
But after further investigation the reviews are very critical. The program is supposedly very limited and the platform/functionality very unreliable.
I have no interest in paying for something that crashes all the time and I have to keep reloading and won't email it's files as its supposed to...
But it's the reported consistent age range of the characters, and movement limitations that makes it unpalatable for me.

Damn, because I was excited by the vid and $18 was an ok price with me. But really it sounds by all reports like software that is about two thirds of the way there...

Very nice. And nice to see Hitchcock get updated, and if I'm not mistaken, a price drop too.

Between this, film slate, and teleprompter, I'm inching closer and closer to an iPad 2.

Yeah, there've been threads on dvxuser about Hitchcock, and the developer chimed in. Has it actually been updated? Last I remember, it was updated back in early 2010 or so. If it's really good, then it might be another reason to get iPad2. I'm a bit of a gadget freak, so I have to control myself, and I've been delaying getting the iPad, but at some point I may be pushed into getting it... a new Hitchcock might just do it :)
