Shot with a stock DVX and on my first real day to test it out. I still have to learn more about the camera, but I'm pretty impressed so far. This storm almost blew us away, we got lucky.

Wow that footage looks very impressive, especially your opening shot.

What model DVX do you have?
What camera settings, and post settings did you use?

I'm using the DVX100B model and my scene settings were:

Detail Level -4
V Detail Level +1
Detail Coring 0
Chroma Level +1
Chroma Phase 0
Color Temp 0
Master Ped -7
Gamma Cinelike V
Matrix Cinelike
24pa

As for post, I did nothing more than boost contrast and levels and I added more blues and reds to balance the colors out. Nothing out of the ordinary. It was very dark out, and immediately after getting back into the car 80mph winds and flash-flooding rains came down over us. It was crazy.
