Storing your P2 Footage

Hi Guys, I'm an ol' XL-1 guy and I was thinking of getting an XL-2 but the HVX is always dancing around my mind. I'm pretty convinced that it's time to go HD and I really want to start doing lots of green screen work and DV is horrible for that stuff. Anyway, my questions is, where will everyone be storing their footage when it comes off the P2 cards. Hard Drives? I'm definitely gonna need a lot of them! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I plan on storing my HD footage on miniDV tapes and on fried, iced-cucumber seeds.

I already tried iced-cucumber seeds and it didn't work. I guess the secrets in the Frying. Also, how is it possible to store HD footage on miniDV tapes?

you can downconvert HD footage to SD to store on tapes but it obviously won't be HD anymore

I'm definitely using optical disc storage and not hard drive.

DVD-R and DVD-R DL until Blu-Ray becomes available in a few months.
