ok so i have a 4gb p2 card so it prettty much sucks. so i bring my laptop everywhere i go so i can upload every 4min. F that! im lookin into the Nexto DI for video but know nothing about it. they also have one with a SSD. i ussualy upload threw firewire but the one i might purchase uses USB, if it matters. so is it a good purchase. quality matters and im not spending 700 on a storage device so what do you say. should i get it? whats the difference between the pro model and regular?

Ehh...how about you just get some bigger P2 cards instead. You can get a 32gig E-Series for $600 bucks. I would never trust my footage to these things.
 
something to chew on steev: two smaller cards are better than 1 larger one. you can shoot to one while transferring the other. with one big card, you shoot till its full, then youre dead in the water while it transfers.

anything different i need to know about the e-series?
