SO, I'm lying in he bushes all camouflaged up, with branches all over me waiting for this heard of deer to go get close to me, here they come, pretty close now, don't breath, or make a sound, almost, almost, ..............BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP, low media warning!!!!!!!!!

DAMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

Up jump about 6 deers who start running off in to the sunset, leaving me with a wasted afternoon and branches in my hair.

Anyway, now do you stop that annoying beeping from the low media alert at 3mins, i looked over the menu and cant see anything, am i blind?

i believe you can turn the audio monitor volume down to 0 or plug in headphones. give it a shot.

There's a way to turn that off. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to tell you how to do it. There's a menu setting to disable it.

What's even more annoying in those low media / low battery situations is that the Direct Menu joystick is not functional - does anyone see any rationale behind it?

As everyone has said, turn down the alarm to 0. I will give you that It is the most annoying alarm I have encountered on a camera.

indeed, i'm supprised that you cant just shut it off. If i'm recording audio and have headphones on i cant kill the monitor volume.

Please,
re-read my message again:

Menu>
Audio Set>Audio Output>Alarm Level.
Set it to 0.
Default = 5

This is the Alarm level.
It's actually called Alarm level.
Yes, you can turn it OFF (0).
And No it does not mute the other audio functions, just the alarm.
Those "other" audio out levels are available via other Audio Output parameters.
