Stolen f3 anyone? Or a ebay scam at the very least

Yeah, I started a similar thread a week or so ago, I'm guessing it was the same person, just because the price was exactley the same. It was a red one, but he had multiple Reds for sale. This guy should be able to buy a new home in a few weeks. iTS disturbing that we live among so many theiving, useless eaters.

The funny thing is. if you didn't know anything about cameras, you might think the Alexa looks old and outdated. like a vhs, or something. Then there's no lens, which would make it even more rediculous looking. I could see it. People are becoming of the mind set that if it's big it's old.

Camera sold for $11,100.99

I fear for some poor sucker as this camera is either stolen or a complete scam.

A shame considering at least three of us reported it to ebay as potential fraud. Does not build confidence in ebay's fraud prevention system.

Mayben not, but then again, you wouldn't want eBay to take the word of three reports if someone just had a personal beef with you against your own listing. The best fraud prevention system is using common sense.

I have seen eBay take down auctions such as this when the seller is numerous expensive items listed for low prices with a low buy-it-now and/or contact before bidding stipulation in the description. Many times these listings are stolen or phished ID's.

The bottom line is caveat emptor. If the deal sounds too good... And as far as that Alexa, wish I had found one of those when I moved into my new house. All I found was dried out buckets of paint.
