stock footage!! HELP~~

where can i get FREE stock footage for an dvx100b? without some logo imposing on top of the video...thanks guys
 
What exactly do you mean. for a DVX? Do you not mean free footage you can use in your editor such as Premiere, Avid, etc? For free footage istockvideo.com has a free clip every month. Revostock.com has a free clip every week or two. Footagefirm.com has several freebies, plus a weekly freebie. Also check google, you can find free clips there. As for free stock footage for my DVX, I generally remove the cap, turn on, point, and press the red button. :)

The sites I listed all have free stock video. Granted there is not a folder full of free stock, rather they give away a free clip each week or month. You just have to visit each week or month to get the clip. Just 2 days ago I downloaded a 350 meg clip from revostock. There is a new one called motionloops.com and they give away a clip each week or so. You have to have an account at each of these sites to get the free clips. istockvideo's current clip ends on the 28th, they will put up a new clip March 1st. They are monthly based on the video and I believe vector, but they have free stock image each week. Also fotolia.com lets users download 10 images per day for free.

That does NOT count as free. That's like getting a sampler of a new strawberry cream pastry when all I want is cookies, but they're charging for those. Right now I need footage of a car driving down a downtown road @ night from the Drivers POV. Am I to wait for possibly YEARS until they decide to make that the free clip of the MONTH?
 
Hey whitewood just let me know whatever footage you need and I'll send it to you for free box of cookies included - what do you expect?!?! its free! You want good stuff - shoot it yourself or pay for it like the rest of us.

Amen to that.

Artbeats has a few free clips for registering (or at least they did last month) it even included an HD clip.

All the giveaways are going to be general, stock-looking video. If you are looking for something pretty specific, chances are you are not going to find it.

Sorry, beggars can't be choosers. I personally download all the free clips in case I need them in the future. If I absolutely need something, will shoot it or buy it. Like others have said.
