Stock 150 battery life

I noted in the Panasonic manual about the battery needing to be fully discharged before recharged. Is this really right? I don't recall doing this in the past with prior Panny batteries.

Are you guys doing this? It seems like a hassle if you're down to ten minutes and want to charge it to full capacity, but having to leave the camera on idle to drain it.

Thats a practice for NMH batteries, not really necessary for Lithium Ion....

I haven't noticed any reduction in full battery charge, I never discharged. I notice the total times charged and age usually has more of an effect on how long it last.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, since it's still so new I guess I'm trying to ensure I don't do anything stupid.

BTW, just received my 5800mah from Panasonic a couple weeks ago. :)

On a side note, do batteries that work with the DVX100b work with the HMC150? I've used them with the HPX170 before, but I was told today that they wouldn't work with the HMC150. I don't have access to the batteries right now so I can't test it out for myself.
