stills when filming

I was wondering if there was any aftermarket device or feature i could get that would allow me to take stills when i am filming with my dvx 100b. Is this even possible besides doing everything in post? i need to eventually make prints no bigger than 8.5 x 11, but a little smaller would work too. Am i in luck or just going to have to stick with only video?
 
The only thing that I can think of would be using Adobe Onlocation with a notebook (not exactly quick, easy and affordable)
Why not just carry a small still camera as well?
 
yeah just get a photographer to do the stills during shooting
 
Yeh, those nice promotional stills for films are not usually grabs from the film itself, they are taken by a production still photographer, who takes pictures of the various setups.
