you are about spot on with the light placement....small wattage - 75w as I recall and swung by my grip in and out of the right side off camera....so placement here may just be one happy accident of a still....footage soon manymoosh!

Adrian ! Looks so nice, I am def impressed with the still man. That shoot was alot of fun too...Thanks for posting ! Look forward to the final piece :)

I love the way the parking lot shot came out ! Exactly the way I pictured it myself...

Acoreasc,
I must say that I'm jealous. I have the DVX100VB and the Letus adapter and have tried to duplicate that look with a 150w and at times with a 300w clear light bulb but can't seem to get that clean separation between the highlights and the midtones. It seems like when I light my face I get too much light around my face.
What kind of NLE are you using? What CC was done to it?

edited in FCP 4.5 and the color correction is Magic Bullet.....but I am not a big fan of the presets, so I use the general look suite filter and add layers until I feel the mood is right.
These looks are just preliminary and done fairly quickly, when we are ready to finish then the fine tuning will begin. Oh, and I looked at your demo reel on twosided and you have nothing to be jealous of - the talent is certainly there IMHO.

Daniel - thank bro....ladies and gents Mr. Daniel Brewer is a true joy to have on set and lent his expertise in camera, grip and lighting - if you want a reliable hand on set I heartily give my full recommendation of him. Oh....that other feature thing is gonna happen so we will talk soon boss...not sure if the outside CC is going to stand - Mike loves the color we picked up in that overcast sky so....we shall see.
