Stills from opening sequence in "Only Got One"

Here are stills from a series of shots appearing at the beginning of a music video I'm working on (set to the song Only Got One by Frou Frou).  The sequencing is meant to illustrate a new day beginning and sunlight slowly spreading throughout the city.  The sequence (and the first act) of the video ends as the girl wakes up in her new dorm room, hesitantly gets ready, and sets out to face the horrors of the wide world.  :-)

I just graduated from high school this year and so the first few weeks of college I pretty much felt this way.  Guess I have to get it out of my system now.  :-)  Anyways, hope you enjoy:

I love these. You have a good eye for 'Chiaroscuro'. Numbers 2,5 and 10 are eye-candy. Your compositions and choice of framing are first rate and the last shot of the young lady is perfectly exposed with a bitchen DOF.

I'd love to see soem footage.

das mah favorite song! i wanted to do a music video.... u got to it... dayum.

can we see the video or you just not cool with posting it with the song you don't have rights to? - unless you do.. i dunno.

but i BET you dont! :D

anyway, since i brought it up, would it be uncool to use a song that you don't have rights to on this site?

Very nice images. Nothing wrong with using a song you like to play around with - you're not going to sell this - and it may make someone looking for a music video director sit up and take notice. For being fresh out of high school this stuff is impressive - I've taught third year film students that couldn't come close to this. Keep up the good work.

nice work! ditto the above. any chance you can plop the vid down here when its done? hope you adapted to college life ok. ..but i have to say, when your out of college and out on your own, well talk shop about the real world then. ;)

I don't Neil. Deciding between what class to take and what Keg Party to go to can be harrowing. :D
