Stills from my first feature film, so far titled "Lost in the World"

Thought I'd share some stills from my feature film, currently in post production, titled "Lost in the World," which will probably be changed due to the new Kanye West song. I'm the writer/director and the star along side Kandis Erickson.

We shot in 11 days for absolutely no money on the 5D. Only lights we had were a few china balls, some christmas lights, and practicals. We used the gini hand held rig and a 50mm and 24mm Zeiss/Contax Yashica mount lenses with the adaptor and a Redrock Micro FF my friend let me borrow. We used a Juicedlink for sound.

Currently editing, almost done with a rough cut.

It's a drama about a boy, Orson, coming to grips with the suicide of his girlfriend, Clara.

That looks great, I recently got a 5D and look forward to the day to produce this quality output!!!! Love it, especially the no money part, and the friend letting you borrow the FF!!

a few questions that I hope you might be able to answer about your setup:

1) what modifications did you have to make the 24mm and 50mm lenses so they didn't hit the mirror in the 5D?
2) Did you use a matte box on any of this? How did you deal with the lens/follow focus/matte box hook ups? I ask because I know that the FF is large and there probably wouldn't be room for a matte box with such short lenses. Im in the same boat!

Thanks! The grabs looks spectacular!

First of all, thanks so much to the compliments fellas! I thought this died that's why I haven't checked back.

To Dantak:

1. I didn't have to modify the lenses at all. They are Contax/Yashica mount and fairly reasonably priced. I have a cheap 20 dollar adapter ring from China. One broke mid shoot though and we lost aperture control so we had to swap rings.
2. No matte box. I bought a Gini Rig and a buddy lent me his Red Rock FF. No filters either. Really all we had was the 5D, Gini Rig, RR FF, 2 lenses....I had some cheap ND and a clear filter for vasoline.
