Peppers...

Peppers...

Lush, smooth gradients, yummy colors. Very "painterly" like an old master.

No, not me, the Dutch guys...

I'll be interested to hear how the Green Screen stuff works for you. What program are you going to use for keying the Green Screen footage?

Beautiful stuff, Leo.

Showing great range, vibrance that doesn't fall off, and the video-ish detail has been toned down quite a bit.

Lots of compression artifacting...I'm sure which is coming from a conversion along the line somewhere. Very encouraging!

Belly dancing is good for you...

In addition to being a fabulous belly dancer, Julie is a very talented painter. Sorry boys, but she's happily married.

Yes, Mike, the compression is noticeable in these jpg shots and if you try to blow up the clips, but playing from the timeline, it's really beautiful stuff. Did I mention my VariCam is for sale?

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

Joe Walker will be pulling the keys as soon as he completes the edit of the footage. We did a quick and dirty test in After Effects and it looked very good. Not a Red camera, but very nice and perfectly acceptable for all but the most critical work.

No added lighting. This one shot with Barry Green's little 20MM lens which greatly reduced the halos around the candles, but I must say I personally prefer the next shot with the Zeiss Standard. I like the halos; more romantic, I think, and the Zeiss has a more "filmic" look, softer and creamy.

Your pulling keys shooting 4:2:0 on the SD card, or 4:2:2 external

I really do like this one better, but opinions vary. That's why they have so many flavors in the ice cream store...

Last one for now; the beautiful Lisa...

Last one for now; the beautiful Lisa...

Just a pretty woman in a Philippe Starck designed black dress; it's called the "Fatal," and it should be.

By the way, Lisa is single. No, you can't have her phone number.

Good shooting and best regards,

Leo

Leo, any chance you could go back and add an edit to your posts to tell us what lens was used. Also, is this a production camera, or still one of the test units floating around from the previous run of tests?
