This looks really nice. I would suggest that you shift your frame downwards to the top of your cinemascope matte. Your subject's head is going out of the frame too much.
Other than that, it looks very filmic. Really like it.
Unfortunately that pretty much is the top. My terrible camera work. It is actually less offensive in the original 16:9 rather than my ridiculous 2.35:1 cinemascope.
I have put the original 16:9 up instead. Also the clip is a little longer now.
Okay...I deleted my inane drooling post...I actually have something of worth to say...
This clip is really very nice...The reason my GL1 never left frame mode is because I fell in love with the image while shooting some (Praise) dancers one day. And the DVX is the same, I see, if not even more haunting. It's just beautiful...the motion was so fluid and filmic, it's incredible.
Way to put in the work!
Do you have an indian background? I'm just curious- you do horror flicks but then all of a sudden yov've shot a very cultural event. so it made me wonder....
Nope. I was very lucky to be invited by an old friend. He is indian and was marrying in India. It was a trip of a lifetime for me. I knew I had to take my DVX. I have so much amazing footage. I will post more soon.
