Stills from DVX w/ Guerilla 35 short film "Underwater"

I love Seattle! Those look real good. The one of him on the couch is fairly dark, but that can be blamed on the Sun. :) The girl looks out of focus. Also, you can remove the shoulder mount VERY easily in post (if it's a stationary shot). Let me know if you need to know how.

Good luck!

She is out of focus... I quadruple checked that on the monitor too *hits palm of hand on forehead* :undecided I need to stop down the lens a little..

yeah it seems the focus is on her right shoulder (left for us). but still these grabs look good, and i'm interested in the final result.

Hey i noticed in your G35 stills you has widescreen, just wondering what kind of other adapter you used? Also where have you gotten your G35 Adapter from?

We shot 4:3, then just cropped it down to 1.85.

Just go to the site, http://guerilla35.com and send Jonathan an email. Some people bought the pre-production version, we rented it, since we are both in Seattle. I know he has been having a hard time holding on to the pre-production versions.

They are looking to have the final production version available by the end of July, middle of August.

Only one minor quibble from me... I was hoping someone had not only shot some stuff with a Guerilla 35, but that they had also manufactured an underwater housing and done it beneath the waves.

Is that too much to ask?!

Apparently :(

Party pooper indeed.

no under the sea?

no under the sea?

Looks great.

Focus seems sharp and like its where you want it to be except for the girl.

Can't wait for ANY 35mm adaptor to actually be available to buy (other than 8K kind I mean).

I thought we were going to se underwater footage too, however :(

good stuff. my comments are echos of others': couch too dark, girl misfocused. my personal fav is the rearviewmirror grab, nice! and you can remove the shoulder mount even if there is motion in the shot, just takes more time/effort.

Ah! I had gone there and confused lens mount type as the type of adaptor that you would need to get it to fit on your camera, and since there was no Panasonic option, thought they weren't available. But now I see they fit 72mm lenses ... now should I get one or wait for the G-35 .... hmm ... This vid sways me towards Micro - but G-35 needs no battery and I think will be cheaper ... hmm...
