Hi

I want to take still images with HVX200 for a speacial project. the camera has a 32G P2 card and a 4G SD card in their slot. I formatted both cards in the camera.
When i press the "Photo Shoot" button on the remote it doesn't take any shoots.

Does anybody know how i can take still images at 1080p

Thanks

The HVX200 and HPX170 don't take stills.

The remote is used for many different Panny products, hence the button. You'll have to use a frame from your footage or use something like Framethief.

Look in the manual on how to do the "one shot" function. Its for stop motion, but lets you take a frame at a time every time you hit record.

That's true but the camera still considers it "footage". So you'll still have to go through the same process as you would with anything else to extract that frame from an NLE. You could just as easily hit record/stop. Yes, you get a few more frames but if it's a still you want, you won't be doing anything with those extra frames anyway.

Now, if the camera captured onto the SD card.......
