Sticky Pod has a brand new video/photo gallery and you're going to love it. All your files are in the gallery titled "Old Gallery".

If you want to reupload your videos and pics, just sign up and place them in your album. Otherwise, tell Sticky Pod which files you want moved (be sure to give them your login and album name) and they will move them for you.

Tom tells me this video gallery is here to stay. Once you see it, you'll see why he says so.

yes.. its pretty much all you could ask for, and its free.

Gotta love Companies that give back to it's user base.

I have tried several times to upload using the Stickypod site.
I browse and find the file on my hard drive,---then upload right?
But that process doesn't seem to be working.
Anybody help?

WOW! So this is a DVXuser specific offer if I read your post correctly?

A whopping thank you to stickypod! Will this be where the sci-fest contest entries will be hosted or will we upload those to a separate server?

Please be sure to let me know if you have any problems. here's just a few parameters that the gallery has built into it:

It will only allow the following files:

Allowable Files: .wmv, .mov, .mpg, .m4v, .mp4, .swf, .flv, .avi, .gif, .jpg, .png, .tif

File limits are:

Max File Size: 100 MBs Each Max User Storage: 1 GB (You read that right )

Once the file itself is uploaded, it automatically switches the file to a read-only for security purposes. This will not cause any problems for viewing.

Once you start your upload, it's not like a download, you must stay on that page until the upload is complete. Only after it states "File is valid, and was successfully uploaded." will the upload be complete. If you need to leave the site during the upload, open a new window and use the new window to leave the upload page, making sure to keep the upload page open.

If you don't get the "...successfully uploaded." message, but the file name shows, then only part of the file made it. A picture, might only be half a picture and a video may only be 1 minute long when it's supposed to be 2 minutes.

This is a basic gallery. There's no private galleries at this time. Once you get your gallery setup, the name of the website page (that's the page title) becomes the name you gave your gallery. For example, my gallery (Tom's Gallery) is titled on the page as <title>Sticky Pod Upload - Tom's Gallery</title>.

You can view this by selecting "View Source" in your browser.

I hope this helps. You can email me directly at: sales@stickypod.com and I will get any problem fixed ASAP.

By the number of galleries activated, I would say it's a hit. Thanks for stopping by and supporting the Sticky Pods. Keep those videos coming.

Many thanks,
Tom

i upload and wait until the page is finished uploading. from there nothing happens. no message. no successful upload or anything. the file is only a 60mb wmv file and i've tried numerous times with no prevail. :(
