I have a S16mm film camera with a lousy Angenieux lens on it. However, I've made hay by buying a C-mount to Canon FD adapter and putting my old lenses on and using them as primes. The focal lengths are OK, the apertures are wide (f1.2), and the images are full of color and look 3-dimensional as opposed to the Angenieux. I realize that this is something of a hack, but hey, it works beautifully. Any options for this kind of thing with the HD100?
Yes, there's plans to make a c-mount adapter (employing an optical element to overcome the ffd issue). And someone's already had a one-off Nikon adapter engineered. I know an M42 adapter would be possible as well, and I can't see how a Canon adapter wouldn't work too.
