FEATURE: STEP OFF (was "Battle") - Narrative Feature

The trailer looks awesome!

Can you talk about the post process (i.e. what system did you cut on and what did you use to grade the film).

BTW, did you use a dof adapter on the ex1?

We're using Final Cut Pro to edit.

Sadly we were not able to acquire the adapter for the shoot.

Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for checking it out and for the kind words. We'll keep you updated here and of course at the blog.

Official site should complete fairly soon and for hip-hop fans, we'll have a free mixtape available soon as well.

thanks,

Martin

Nicole,

I appreciate that sentiment...we hope everyone involved feels proud to have been a part of it. You did really fine work on it.

Thanks again for that and the continued support,

Stay tuned to the progress as we'll keep promoting it up to it's release and beyond.

Good luck on your 2010 projects as I know you're hustling to be part of many great ATL shoots.

Should have mentioned this earlier but didn't really know how to update as many won't get a chance to appreciate it.

But, for GA folks, our lead actress Onira Tares is enjoying a run as the star of the current GA Lottery commercial for the Red Hot Millions which features the fire-breathing goat.

If you watch weekend sports you're probably catching her several times during the telecasts. So, congratulations to Onira and peep it out GA folks.

Also, any other DVXusers who hadn't had a chance check out the trailer (www.battle-movie.com ) as I'd like to read more comments.

Thanks,

Martay

I get a kick out of seeing the trailer pop up everywhere...like here.

Makes me feel good even though every spot has a different Release date listed :)

We've only claimed one so far...but hey, no harm no foul I guess.

Still haven't gotten feedback from some regulars on the userfilm section though. Hope y'all check it out soon.

thanks,

Martay

Just a quick update about Battle...the mixtape will be coming soon and available free! So be on the lookout for the official announcement that will include the tracklist. It came together well and will feature several artists from Battle as well as many others.

Saw the trailer on a Univision site...that was pretty awesome...still looking to get more comments on the trailer...

y'all know where it's at (read all the spots in this thread) so take a look.

Edit still going strong and music work will be daunting.

Yo this looks pimp. I watched the trailer and was hooked. We should have our teaser out in a day or two for 10 Crack.

Martin,

I'm sending a guy your way. His name is Robert and he's interested in Screenwriting. I told him to look up ATL Screen Group and to come check you guys out.
