A little bit about this awesome package:
The bearings are silky smooth in both the arm and gimbal.
Everything works as it should.
Battery mount is Anton Bauer.
Monitor functions beautifully but there is a small scratch on the protective screen. But that's what the protective screen is there for. Does not effect monitor performance in any way.

This also comes with a Steadicam Low Mode Bracket as seen here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/192877-REG/Steadicam_300_7901_3007901_Mini_Low_Mode_F.html
It's really easy to drop this bad boy into low mode and be shooting within minutes!

This rig got very little use. Not because of anything to do with the rig but more to do with our clients and I'm getting too old to lug a steadicam around.

For a very accurate detailed description please check out the B&H link here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...m_ZEBAHDBCZZ_Zephyr_Camera_Stabilizer_AB.html

Holds up to 24 pounds.

I did add a few extra pads on the vest at the chest buckle area and at the top of the chest spar. If you don't like them they are easily removable with velcro. I found I was able to really tighten the vest with no discomfort as a result.

Some cameras I have flown on here include: Sony FS700, Red Scarlet, Sony FS7, smaller DSLR cameras. And I'm not talking stripped down versions of these cameras. I used a Heden Carat Wireless Follow Focus and a Teradek Bolt Wireless Transmitter rigged up to the cameras. The Zephyr flew beautifully.

With cheap chinese steadicam knock-offs finding dynamic balance is a nearly impossible because things aren't machined well and bearings are cheaply made. I was able to get every set-up I attempted into Dynamic Balance with little to no difficulty. There is a great tutorial on Youtube about the method to finding Dynamic Balance here: https://youtu.be/H9W8bOZLM9g Works every time.

What separates a steadicam from something like a Ronin or Movi is that the steadicam arm isolates the movements of the operator from the sled/camera. So you won't see the walking bouncing steps of the operator like you do with a Ronin or Movi.

With this rig you can really get out there and make money flying cameras on professional sets. When a producer hears you have a Steadicam brand Zephyr they are more likely to hire you over someone who has a off-name brand rig. It may not be fair but it's the truth.

Asking price: $5500 OBO
