steadicam pilot battery mounts

Hi all,

Im in the market for a steadicam pilot ; just dont know which one to purhcase.
The AAmount

or the IDX batter mount:

Will be using it for a commercail shoot. But might be usefull for a few event shootings! Basically Im wondering if the IDX batteries are worth it. Allthough I dislike fiddling around with AA batteries.

Any advise is much apppreciated !
