I bought this Merlin used for my HVX-200A on the advice from Tiffen that it would work with the camera, despite being on the cliff of the Merlin weight limit. (The 200A is listed in the Tiffen cookbook.) Others apparently have made it work with the 200A; I was never able to do so, even with advice from a professional Steadicam operator, so I'm crying "Uncle." The camera has been on the Merlin no more than a dozen times as I've attempted to balance it. The previous owner sold it to me after using it (happily, without issue; different camera) on two small projects he needed it for. The equipment is all in excellent shape.
I'm selling it for $650. What's included in the package:
