Have any of you gotten the Merlin with the case from B&H? I ordered one, but they said they're out of stock indefinitely, but they still have plenty of Merlins without the case. What kind of case is it, and do I really need to wait for it?

:dankk2:

It's a really handy case as it's designed to hold your Merlin and camera - when attached.
Basically it's a camera case wth a cutout in teh bottom for the Merlin to nest in safly. All you need to do is pull teh camera out of the back, unfold the Merlin and you are flying instantly. Much nicer than taking the camera on teh Merlin and then re-balancing every time.

Got plenty of pockets for other gear too. So it replaces your camera bag and protects the Merlin in the process.

Yeah, this isn't the standard little case that the Merlin comes with (which is just for the Merlin)
This is optional, but much handier as it all fits in one.

Well, B&H's info has it as included, and it makes a $75.00 difference in the price between it and the Merlin on its own. If it comes in and it's not that case I guess I could complain, huh?
