Steadicam Merlin Balancing

I just bought a Steadicam Merlin. I’m usually a slow learner, & it took me 3 days just to balance the steadicam. But I’m still having problems. When I have it balanced, so like in the video, you pick up the left side, & let it drop, taking about 1 second to completely fall down. When I have it to do that perfectly. While trying to keep it steady regularly, the front tilts down a little bit. When I try any of the ways possible methods to make the back heavier, even just the tiniest bit, the camera starts to turn to the left. Not tilt to the left, but turn to the left. And my side-to-side balancing is perfect. It’s very frustrating, & I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem, & if anyone knows a solution. Bear in mind, my camera is rather back heavy because I have a GGA-D54 7.2V 5400mAh battery attached. Thanks for reading.

Does it try to tilt down when you are just holding it in place, or when you start to move? - If the latter, once you are moving at a constant speed, does it return to level, and then tilt up a little when you stop?

Thanks for responding. When I move forward it helps a little. However, in the video they show how the camera is supposed to be completely level, even when holding the camera still. I plan to call the company on Monday. But you seem to be an expert on steadicams, so maybe we can work it out. Thanks

Sorry, I'm still not quite clear on what your rig is dooing.

Is it tilting down when you just hold it in place without moving?

Once you reply to mikko the info will come... but Im telling you in the meantime, the Merlin isnt easy at first but please just stick at it, because if you do the results are fantastic.
