Steadicam Jr

Whats the deal on this? Should I go for it or wait to invest in the actual steadicam?
I've looked at test footage but i'm still not sure what to think. Some opinions would be nice..and if your selling or know someone who is let me know.

The Steadicam JR is a real Steadicam, it's just an older model.

The Merlin (which replaced the JR) is a much slicker & rigid unit; however both units have the same basic design principle, and both work quite well. The Merlin is more compact, easier & quicker to adjust, and can carry more weight.
