Steadicam Jr and dvx 100b

Greetings. I have the Steadicam jr. I tried for a long frustrating time to balance the 100b but it just seems too danged heavy. I am using the D54 battery. Will this thing work with a smaller battery? Is anyone using the jr with the big battery? WILL THE 100b work at all with Steadicam Jr. Should I just get a Merlin.

OK then....How does the 100b work with Merlin? Large battery or small?

The steadicam Merlin will indeed work with the Merlin and very well.

Yes, what ncje means to say is that the Steadicam Merlin will fly the DVX100/a/b very well.

And yes, they are too heavy for the JR. That's why they made the Merlin, it's stronger (and lighter, better, etc..).
