Steadicam Flyer, Used only Twice...works flawlessly. In absolutely EXCELLENT CONDITION! Selling to purchase new gear that I need more. Full kit, including stand, arm, dovetail plate, LCD monitor, vest, soft case, cables, tool, Training video & original instructions, etc. Outfitted for NP-23 batteries. Includes charger & two barely used batteries! See links below for more info. Current discount retail price is $6800.

The Flyer includes a full iso-elastic Steadicam arm like the larger, more expensive models. Many professional operators consider this arm as good as any they've used. This is a remarkable piece of machinery...hands down, the best product on the market in the under-$20,000 price range. Flies cameras between 2-15 lbs.

Don't mistake this as comparable to the other "off-brand" Steadicam wannabes... this isn't just a cheap piece of equipment with the Steadicam name on it. It was developed by Garrett Brown and Steadicam specifically for today's smaller, lighter cameras. Other manufacturers are working with Steadicam's old, expired patents (Steadicam vigorously enforces its patents.) This is the only inexpensive unit on the market that isn't relying on 10-year-old technology.

For an example of the ONLY recent eBay auction for a Steadicam Flyer that closed for $300 more than what I'm asking for - Item number: 160099258457

Amazon.com sells it here for over $1200 more than what I'm asking for: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000OV9CWM/ref=nosim/?tag=sz-photo-20&creative=380333&creativeASIN=B000OV9CWM&linkCode=asn

Still available? Did you purchase any extra accessories (low mode kit, monitor hood, camera plates, etc?)

Soft case or hard case, standard or compact vest......

Any pics available?

Thx,
Chris

It is still available at this moment. I have three people that are interested, but nothing in concrete as of this moment. Two have asked to decide Monday. I will be listing it on eBay Monday afternoon if nobody has confirmed for sure.

It is the soft case -- I don't know what you mean by standard or compact vest, and I have just the Steadicam Flyer kit. Complete as listed in my first post. The thing is in stearling condition without a scratach -- I can send photos if you provide an email addy to me, but it looks just like in the Stedicam ads since it is in perfect condition.

Needles to say since you seem educated on the product, this is an awesome deal for one of these in this condition.

Thanks,

E.

Had several interested parties, but they all fell through for one reason or another. I'll try something else. I'LL TRADE this perfect condition Steadicam Flyer for an Apple Mac Pro 3GHZ 8-Core w/ 750Gig HD, Bluetooth/Airport, ATI Radeon X1900, and Applecare.

For those that get a discount on the system, this could be an awesome deal.
