Arm model UNI manufacured in 2005 from Steadicam Center in Rome Italy.
It's essentially an upgraded design of the Steadicam 3A arm with 6 Titanium GOLD springs, standard socket block and 5/8" arm post for all kind of professional steadicam vest and sled.

This is a very good arm, solid, smooth and in very good working condition. It can load all kind of film and videocameras (from DV camera with weight plate up to Arri 435/535) and it worked in a lot tv program and movies.
I think it's a good, cheap and valid choice for a beginner.
the price is €6000/8500USD OBO
Eventually I should consider a trade with a used lightweight rig like the FLYER LE or a Glidecam v-25
