Stay Away from Cheap Batteries???

So when you type in HMC150 battery in ebay you get matches from $15-up... I am assuming I should steer clear of anything not Panasonic brand which is around $170???

I got the $30 5800mAH ones from Adorama - they seem to last about the same amount of time as the Panasonic 5400 mAH, and are way cheaper.

I've got SIX of the large batteries from china (240 mins) and they all work fine.

hey guys... i assume that the batteries do not communicate with the camera chip that shows the remaining battery life on the LCD screen of the camera??? is there LED lights on the batteries themselves that shows life remaining???

Hey hendosan, how long have you had these?

About 3 months. I haven't noticed the battery life worsen any more than my genuine Panasonic 5400 mAH battery did in the same timeframe (barely at all).

I too have two of the adorama batteries and I'm very satisfied. Reads and lasts as long as the Panasonic batteries. I just bought two more.

That's strange but encouraging, I'm so used to the 'get what you pay for' motto... I'm gonna buy one.

Certain electronics and accessories have a ridiculously high markup, so "get what you pay for" isn't applicable in a lot of cases.
