State of the camera market

Not quite sure where to put this but anyway here goes....

What is the likely reaction of Panasonic* to the Black Magic Cinema Camera. Is it "What ever! doesn't really effect us or our products" or maybe "holly Cow, loads and loads of potential customers are going to be going for it we need to do X to counter it"

Personally version one of the BMCC isn't for me but it is interesting for the future

Of course they are. They just released the HPX250 and HPX255, and their next release is the HPX600, all P2 cams...
