Starting A New Game.

[Doc Bernard]

I call it "Busting the Network Shows for Glaring Mistakes"

I'll start:

NCIS LA:

Father hands Agent a picture of his son (who was just killed in a drive-by shooting)

"This was the proudest day in my life, when he graduated boot camp."

But the picture shows the "son" wearing MSgt stripes. Wow, things have changed since I was in the military. A promotion to MSgt on graduation from boot????????

Fire the advisor!!!!!!!!!!! Poor "attention to detail".

CSI NY:

Agent in a struggle with a suspect threatens to taser, and the suspect reminds her that if she tases him while he's holding onto her, she'll get the current as well... after which she stuns him, and they both fall to the ground as her backup arrives.

10 minutes later, she is again in hand-to-hand, sticks the taser to the perp, and walks away unharmed.

But then, the entire CSI franchise is based on a huge, glaring error: CSI officers aren't the ones who show up first, secure the suspects, make arrests, get caught in fire fights, etc. They may carry guns, but they arrive after the scene has been secured.
