Here I am, doing research for a paper on a Saturday night. Hey, I'm dedicated. .. Anywho, I ran into this webpage for a guy named Winter who is trying to go to every Starbucks in the world.

The layout is not the greatest, but there are some rough details.
He's taken some photos of the places he's been

(I'm a little upset, I didn't see either of "mine" in there.)

There's also a documentary being released soon about him.

The first trailer looks pretty interesting (especially the lady talkin about her dogs-wtf?!!?!) - the second gets a bit more odd.

I'm surprised that this man has been traveling to Starbucks for as long as he has.
I start feeling bad when I notice I've gone for more than a couple consecutive days- I like to give my body a break from that caffeine. But he's insane!

Just curious about your take on Starbucks (I know a lot of people are really against it) and this dudes journey. Beware, you may see him at YOUR local Starbucks! Moohoohaaahaaa

So he's going to all of these starbucks, but still hasn't been to Seattle? He's got a long way to go.

I wonder if his travelling and drinking can possibly keep up with Starbucks' rate of world domination...

WHY?!

the things people do for some publicity.

he could totally donate all that money to isara. but instead he buys a sh*tload of coffee.

I guess that's what he thinks is a "purpose-driven life" in this day and age. I find that a bit sad.

But, I do drink there... White Chocolate Mochas, mmm mm... Or the Frapaccino version too. But I guess I don't drink the real straight up coffee. Gotta get my dose of sugar in there too.

it is kind of a bummer if they are putting mom and pop coffee shops out of biz by opening one on every corner. but that is the american way is it not? i hear they have good health insurance..

I think Starbucks is trying to have more locations than McDonalds...not that there's anything wrong with that...:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I personally have only been to 2 starbucks in my life, and both times I didn't order anything. Not a big fan.

Impossible to achieve... They have been opening an average of 3 new starbucks a week.

So this week they open one in Main, one in San Diego, and one in Alaska...hmmm how does one achieve this if these are now the last 3.

I know, I guess he's got his life set out for him. ehh...

I was never addicted to Starbucks, til I started going there to do hw. Sometimes I just cannot study at home- too many distractions. YEs, Starbucks has them too- but they're different. I can say it helped me get some good grades! But, not too proud that I rely on it at times.
There's a coffee shop down the street (in Solvang) and they've got stickers that say "Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks" !!!
