Speaking of time travel I deciced to look up the maths....
Time Travel Tutorial ():
Due to relativity the geometric length of an object or body from an observer travailing at a uniform and relative motion is actually less if it was measured from the observer if at rest.
If we denote three dimensional space as x, y, z, then we can also denote another object as x1, y1, z1.
The reason why the change in geometric properties is not physical, i.e. it does not actually change, rather a consequence of the Lorentz Transformation.
Let us assume a uniform motion within the Z direction of two bodies:
We can now apply the Lorentz invariant of geometric distance, and its 2nd and 3rd derivatives namely Velocity and acceleration and also momentum.
Distance now is given by:
Now to derive velocity and acceleration we need to apply 2nd and 3rd derivatives, however now that we have relativity involved this is a bit of a problem. The solution is given by attaching the observer to the moving body such that they move together, this is known as “proper time”, this makes the change in geometric zero. If we now derive the velocity as:
The momentum part of the equation (NOT SURE ABOUT THIS PART) is essentially expressed by a Fourth Momentum that contains the three Newtonian momentum of the geometry (as I understand it)
Dirac's Derivation of Negative Mass Energy
From Newton’s equation we known that the energy of an object is given by:
E = ½ m v^2
[This is the bit I don’t understand, I think basically he subs The four (P) momentum into the energy equation, then looks at what happens at rest and what happens to the energy when the object is moving, then after some funky re-arranging he arrives at the last energy equation]
The next picture is a photograph of the original chalk and blackboard derivation of the famous time travel energy equation [NOTE to self, at this point, I’m totally lost, I think as the pages describe, the E = mc^2 is expanded]

heh, Terry your probably right imagine if we could actually build one,
I would get next weeks lottery numbers then come back and win, and then buy some loverly RED shares (you can buy them right?) Then go forward about 1 year and buy a couple of RED cameras, and come back now and show you guys footage of some holy Sh*t you could expect to have in a years time.
